  • If you have a sports injury or any serious injury for that matter, Dr. Alaia is the right guy for you. It's been over a year since my multi-ligament knee injury and my knee is feeling better than before! Dr. Alaia is super knowledgeable and can diagnose your condition within minutes. Before going through my ACL, MCL, and meniscus surgery Dr. Alaia reassured me of the process and helped provide the right resources to help me recover swiftly and effectively....
  • Dr. Alaia and his staff are the best! As well as Andre! They took care of my like family would. I've had 5 prior knee surgeries (acl and meniscus) and was looking for a new surgeon and the best I could get. And I definitely found it! Would rate 100 stars if I could. Best surgeon and staff ever! So fortunate i found Dr. Alaia and staff :)
  • I met Dr. Alaia in July of 2021 after being referred to his office in New Hyde Park. My first appointment with him he went over my MRI and the severity of my knee injury (PCL tear, meniscus) and laid out my options. He explained both non surgical and surgical avenues that we could take and the likely outcome of each. Not only did he have a level of confidence in the surgical procedure, but he also had confidence in me that I would return to my active sport...
  • Confident, not arrogant. That was the first thing I noticed, and appreciated, about Dr. Alaia. I have dealt with knee injuries for 30 years and, in turn, have seen many orthopedists and have had several procedures. Dr. Alaia is by far the most empathetic doctor I have seen. He listens intently and provides options that are best for you personally, not a cookie-cutter plan. Feeling no pressure whatsoever, I opted on surgery to repair my ACL. While wait...
  • Very attentive and welcoming staff. I tore my ACL, LCL MCL and PCL along with my meniscus, tendons and displaced my patella. I also had surgery on my shoulder. Dr. Alaia was very patient and detailed with me. Although there was a language barrier because my" English isn't very good, Dr. Alaia made sure I understood all of my options and procedures. It has been over a year since I had my procedures and my knee and shoulder are at 75% which is marvelous cons...
  • Dr Alaia is literally my saving grace. I'll start off by saying aside from his incredible expertise, He is genuinely one of the NICEST people I have ever met. He is so passionate about getting his patients back to feeling like their normal selves. He cares so much. I tore my ACL about 3.5 years ago, and he repaired it with no complications... Thank you so much Dr. Alaia!
